San Diego's CW, is looking for interns
for the Marketing Department. The following information details the specifics
of San Diego's CW marketing research internship responsibilities:
- Experience the infrastructure of a fast-paced corporate media environment
- Learn the various computer programs the research department utilizes
(Nielsen Media Research, TV Scan, CMR Ad-Telligence, Scarborough, PowerPoint,
Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, and the Internet)
Collect and analyze Nielsen Media Research data
- Ability to work and think independently and creatively
- Ability to analyze statistical data and report findings with 100%
accuracy
- Requires a bright, computer/graphic literate individual to create
sales/marketing research and one sheets
- Creative implementation of findings into PowerPoint presentations
and sales tools
- Process marketing consultant's research requests
- Participation in setup of sales proposals used by marketing consultants
on business calls
- Attend sales calls with the marketing consultants (if your interest
lies in that arena of marketing)
All intern applicants must be college students. The hours of the internship
vary depending on intern's class schedules and availability. Typically,
an intern can expect to work one to two days per week from 8am-12noon
and should be flexible. The internship is non-paid. Please send résumé
